Aaron Perrault- North Branch, Minnesota

Aaron (left) and his dad have competed on the Minnesota Fishers of Men Trail for many years.  They have qualified for regional events and have several top finishes, including a win at Balsam Lake in 2008.  The past three years they have never finished below 15th in the Angler of the Year list.

I grew up in North Branch, MN and have been fishing most of my life.  Growing up in East Central MN meant having several lakes within 30 minutes drive with excellent bass fishing in the summer and good ice fishing in the winter.  I started tournament fishing at the age of 13 and most of my tournament experience has been in MN and WI with some in IA.  I started fishing in the Sunrise Bassmasters club in high school, but my dad and I have most recently been fishing the Fishers of Men MN East Tournaments.

Favorite rod/reel: St. Croix Rods, Shimano Reels

Favorite bait: Black/Blue Jig with Hot Rod Jig Trailer, or a Jig Worm with Hot Rod Finesse Worm

Favorite lake: Chisago Lake, Green Lake, Lake Minnewashta, and Lake Minnetonka

Tournament Wins:  FOM MN East 2008 Balsam Lake , FOM MN East 2005 Green Lake, WFL 2006 Upper Pine, Sunrise Bassmasters 2003 DARE Tournament North and South Center , Bounty Fishing Week 46 Largemouth North, and several Sunrise Bassmasters Club tournaments.

Other Top Finishes:  FOM MN East 2006 North and South Center 4^th, FOM MN East 2005 Coon Lake 6^th, FOM MN East Green Lake 3^rd, MN State Tournament 2005 Le Homme Dieu 16^th, Qualified 3 times for MN State Tournament, Fished 2 FOM Regionals
